About Us

  • Lakewood Growler located in the heart of East Dallas was built with a focus on our patrons and their love of Texas craft beer. With 36 taps pouring brews from all across the Lone Star State (and a slight bias toward local North Texas breweries) there is a beer for every pallet.
  • Our tap tenders know their craft beers and are always happy to answer any questions or offer suggestions whether to a seasoned beer aficionado, or a newby to the craft scene. Lakewood Growler also offers kombucha and root beer.
  • At LG you have the option to stay and enjoy your beer, fill up your 32 or 64 ounce growler to go, or both! If you already own a growler, bring it in and we will fill it up! If you don’t already have one, we have growlers for purchase many of which with custom designs. We sanitize and purge each growler with carbon dioxide to eliminate oxygen keeping your beer fresher longer. Be sure to try a flight of four craft beers that you select or ask a tap tender to create a flight based on your tastes to introduce you to something new.
  • With so many breweries opening in Texas, many within 100 miles of us, drinking local has never been easier or more fun. Lakewood Growler is BYOF, so grab some grub from one of our neighbors (Taco Joint, Lover’s Pizza, Ginger Thai, and more) and come enjoy a taste of Texas!

These all feature one of the four house yeast strains, These are all keg-conditioned, rather than force-carbonated, a more natural process of adding carbonation to the beers that makes them not only more flavorful, but more friendly to people with gluten sensitivity.
